Program Description:

The two-year Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering at the College of Engineering equips students with essential theoretical and practical skills. Its curriculum integrates modern technical knowledge, hands-on experiences, and industry-relevant tools, preparing students to tackle engineering challenges. Emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, innovation, leadership, teamwork, and ethics, the program supports interdisciplinary learning. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in engineering industries or entrepreneurial ventures. One of the award requirements is that students are expected not only to pass the required courses but also to achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 or above.

Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering aims to:

Admission Criteria:

Pass in General Certificate Diploma or equivalent with grade not less than “C” with the following subjects:

    • Physics OR Chemistry
    • Pure Maths or Applied Maths
  • Pass in the university entrance test (Minimum 60% average required).
