College follows a streamlined approach towards academic advising through the Academic Advising System (ACADS). Students are assigned an Academic Advisor who will be available for the student to help and support them on academic matters. At the time of initially joining the college, an academic advisor is assigned to the student who will be travelling the academic journey along with the student and guiding him/her during the first two years of the program of study (Freshman and Sophomore years). When the student progresses to the third and fourth year (Junior and Senior years), an academic member of staff specialized in one of the core areas of the program of study will be assigned as the Academic Advisor for the students; this ensures the Academic Advisors are better placed to provide career advice and discuss various job opportunities.
Besides, each academic department has a team of Admission Tutors who are well trained to provide advice and guidance for the college aspirants as well as the students on matters related to Course Requirements, Program Requirements, General and Specific Study Plans, Pathway selection and requirements, Credit Transfer based on Accredited Prior Learning (APL), and other general admission requirements to various programs.
