MSc in Information Technology with three Concentrations
MSc. Information Technology degree is awarded by National University of Science and Technology, provides knowledge in the specialized area of IT, embedded with creative and managerial skills to meet the current and future demands of the industry. The program is structured with three concentrations namely Cloud computing, Big data, and the Internet of things, Advanced Computer Networking and Cybersecurity to produce graduates with specialized knowledge. The program also nurtures independent thinking and creativity that enhances the students with skills and knowledge to pursue a career in industries at the middle or higher management positions or embark in research and doctoral degrees in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Cyber-security or related disciplines. The specialized courses in each concentration provide opportunities to specialize in state-of-the-art technologies.

There is a huge demand for IT professionals who have a clear understanding of technology and how to apply technology to be the most productive in the company. Graduates have opportunities to work in the field of Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity and Big Data in various government and private sectors including Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.

PEO3: An ability to comprehend and implement the benefits of state-of-the-art developments in IT in compliance with professional ethics, health, safety, and environment.
PE O4: An ability to engage in research activities leading to business goals and recommend innovative ideas beneficial to society through life-long learning.
