The Program is designed such that students do not require passing at a specific level to progress to the next level and it is non-progressive and fully segmental in nature. The Full-Time MSc Program will consist of three teaching semesters followed by a fourth semester devoted to the research seminar and master thesis. Students who finish 30 credit hours will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Students who carry out a major project of 9 credit hours plus 1 credit seminar thus accumulate 10 credit hours will be eligible for the exit award of Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
MSc in Electrical Engineering is offered by the National University of Science and Technology in collaboration with the University of South Carolina, USA. This postgraduate degree program encourages independent thinking and creativity that enhance the students’ skills and knowledge to pursue a career in industries at the middle or higher management positions or embark in research and doctoral degrees in electrical power generation, transmission, distribution and utilization.
