The National University of Science and Technology is participating in the International Cultural Festival (VIT 25) in the Republic of India, which will be held from February 18 to 23, 2025. This festival aims to promote cultural exchange among students from various countries. The Sultanate of Oman will showcase its culture through a traditional theatrical performance titled “The Eternal Omani Occasions,” which will highlight Omani wedding ceremonies.
NU participated in the cultural exhibition as part of the festival’s activities. The exhibition showcased traditional Omani clothing and ornaments that the Omani community still preserves for all occasions.
During the participation, the university delegation visited the campus facilities to learn more about the services offered to students and meet other participants to discover their diverse cultures. The festival hosted 85 participants from universities around the world. The Omani delegation also had the opportunity to visit historical and tourist landmarks in Chennai.
Senior Specialist of Student Affairs, Mr. Muntasar Al-Balushi, led the delegation from the National University. It included students Sheeth Al-Rasbi, Faidh Al-Balushi, Shama Al-Rushdi, Alya Al-Jabri, and Quds Al-Musafir.
