Mohammed Al Amri, a certified trainer from the Ministry of Higher Education Research & Innovation, explained the benefits of developing practical skills in the area of Pump operations. A brief overview of the theory behind pump operations in the fields was followed up with practical sessions on handling pump problems. The workshop aimed to provide practical insights and hands-on experience to
Mechanical and POM Engineering students. Eng. Mohammed Al Amri delivered an insightful session covering various aspects of industrial pump operations. The content was meticulously curated to understand the subject matter comprehensively. Through interactive demonstrations and engaging discussions, students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of pump operations in industrial settings. Overall, the workshop was well-received and deemed beneficial by all students. It served as a valuable platform for skill development and knowledge enhancement in the domain of industrial pump operations.
At the beginning of the Workshop, Prof Dr Sudhir, Head of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, emphasized the need for such skills development among young students as it significantly impacts learning. Dr Moammer Al Toubi, Deputy Head of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, presented a memento as a token of appreciation to the presenter. Ms Nabila al Bulushi organized this event to benefit Mechanical and POM Engineering students.
