The BEng Chemical Engineering final year student team (Team 1: Sara Al-Shibli, Athari Al-Badi, Ola Al-Dhabari, Team 2: Nadra Ali Salim Alzakwani, Bakhit Al Ghanbushi, Jaber Nasser Mohsin Al Ruqaishi, Abdullah Hamed Sulaiman Al Mahrouqi, Maraa Said Moahammed Al Jahdami) under the supervision of Dr. Geetha Devi has received “Outstanding Young Material, Corrosion and Integrity Engineer Award” in the Oman Materials, Corrosion, and Integrity Summit 2024 held from 9-11 September 2024 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was organized by the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Oman chapter in partnership with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oman Society of Engineers (OSE), and American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Oman Section.
The main highlight of the Oman Materials, Corrosion, and Integrity Summit 2024 was to showcase the latest developments and innovations in the area of corrosion protection employing cutting-edge technology. The award was given to ambitious young researchers based on their excellent contribution to innovative research and active involvement in corrosion protection.
