The Department of LIC at the College of Engineering held a Professional development workshop for LIC staff on 27th October 2022

The event organized by the Falk Astronomy Club, in partnership with the Students Affairs office and the Omani Astronomical Society, brought the thrill of observing a partial eclipse to the astronomy community.

The "Leadership Arts and Management of Student Clubs" workshop conducted by the Students Affairs office aimed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in leadership roles and effectively manage student clubs. It served as a valuable opportunity for personal growth, fostering capable and successful student leaders within the university community.

The "Black Holes Workshop" conducted by the Falk Astronomy Club, under the guidance of Hussin Ali, provided an invaluable platform for students interested in the astrophysical realm. It encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of black holes, contributing to the intellectual growth of participants within the Falk Astronomy Club community.
