About this program

Electronics and Communications Engineering is a 4–year degree program aims to provide knowledge and skills in the Electronic devices, operations and applications to the evolving Telecommunication technologies and Bio-medical practices to the aspiring students. It provides the opportunity to choose the specialization either in Telecommunication Engineering with a focus to Radio, TV, Microwave, Fiber optical and Mobile communication or Bio-Medical engineering with emphasis on Medical diagnosis, Image processing and Telemedicine. The combination of practical skills and the use of modern software tools will enable the graduates to practice and progress within the industrial environment as highly skilled Engineers and Entrepreneurs.

Program Educational Objectives

To combine the effective teaching of Electronic and Communication Engineering principles with the essential practical skills and understanding to allow the graduates to be capable of practicing and progressing within the industrial environment, as highly skilled engineers and entrepreneurs.

Electronics and Communications Engineering with Telecommunication Concentration

  • Design and developing new Control systems related to Telecommunications technologies.
  • Trouble shooting and Problem solving in Telecommunication related networks
  • Planning and maintenance of the wireless devices, router, network cable, optical fiber and for better performance.
  • Involve in research findings, publish research papers related to Telecommunications Engineering

Electronics and Communications Engineering with Bio Medical Engineering Concentration

  • Support patient diagnosis and treatment through Installing, adjusting, maintaining and servicing biomedical equipment.
  • Liaise with the Medical and Engineering staff related to biomedical equipment.
  • Involve in research findings, publish research papers related to Bio Medical Engineering.
