The IMechE Student’s Chapter and the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering, National University, organized an alumni guest lecture on “Build Your Own Career Path”. The alumni guest lecture was presented by Ms. Tasnim Al. Dawudi, R&D Engineer at MB Petroleum Services Oman, who is an entrepreneur herself. During her speech, she elaborated on her career pathway from schooling until today. Also, she detailed her achievements, the hurdles and efforts made, and the milestones in her career until now. Also, she elaborated on the importance of resilience, consistent effort, hard work, and not giving up. She exhibited awards and appreciation from various institutions around the world and explained how she achieved them. IMechE members actively interacted with the guest speaker concerning their projects and technical clarifications.
