College of Engineering Student Got Energy Globe National Award 2022

Energy Globe  National Winner Award 2022 –Oman is conferred to. Razan  Al Kalbani for her Level 4  Technical Project  “Hybrid Model of Solar and Wind Energy for Powering Street Lights” completed during the academic year 2021-22  under the supervision of Basheer Ahamed Gani in the department of Electrical and Communication Engineering, College of Engineering.  This Technical Project has produced two publications in the  International Conference and International Journal and the best paper award on Student research day.

From the 2500 best projects submitted for the Energy Globe Award from more than  180 countries, her project has emerged as a winner at the national level.

The project  Hybrid Model of Solar and Wind Energy for Powering Street lights has been considered for competing at the International level for the Energy Globe Award, which is the most significant Environmental Award worldwide. The  National University of Science and Technology is proud of producing National talents for powering the beautiful country, Sultanate of Oman.
