Fikr Exhibition

Under the patronage of Sayyida. Wafa bint Hilal Al Busaidiyah, and coinciding with Arab Libraries Day, the College of Engineering Library at the National University of Science and Technology held its annual exhibition (Fikr) on Wednesday, March 6th, in celebration of Arab Libraries Day.

National University of Science and Technology’s annual Fikr exhibition underscores the university’s deep commitment to books, libraries, readers, and intellectuals. Held on March 6th to celebrate Arab Libraries Day, the exhibition featured a variety of libraries and cultural booths.

Fikr Theater stage offered a diverse program featuring educational and cultural plays, presentations of historical muwashahat (a form of vocal music), and inspiring talks by successful Omani influencers. Visitors also enjoyed cultural debates, an annual competition held alongside the exhibition, and various cultural and entertainment activities.

The ceremony concluded with a tribute to the participants who creatively enriched the exhibition. Sayyida Wafa Al Busaidiyah was also honoured for sponsoring this event and for unwavering support for such valuable initiatives.
