The Department of LIC at the College of Engineering held a Professional development workshop for LIC staff on 27th October 2022. The workshop covered several topics including skills of customer services, organization of work and distributing responsibilities, initiative and boldness in developing library services, the digitization Process, indirect marketing of the library internally and externally, documenting the achievements of the library, regular review and self-criticism, professional development, and knowledge sharing. This workshop was presented by Dr. Jamal Al Salmi, Director of Main Library of Nizwa University.
