Membrane Science and Engineering Lab houses facilities for cutting edge research in membrane separation including membrane gas separation, membrane filtration (micro, ultra and nanofiltration), membrane emulsification, membrane reactor, membrane pervaporation, membrane dialysis, and membrane distillation. The lab focuses on the design, process modelling, simulation, and optimization of membrane systems. Facilities in this lab include: Membrane distillation unit, Membrane emulsification unit, Membrane Filtration unit, Membrane Gas Separation Unit, Membrane Pervaporation unit, Pyrolytic Reactor, UltraSonicator (bath), Solar Energy Generation Unit, High pressure Raection Set-up, Process Simulation facilities and software including AspenONE, MATLAB, Avogadro, OpenFoam.
Computational Engineering Research Lab houses facilities for advanced computational engineering and process modeling research. Facilities in this lab include high performance computer and varieties of software (Octave, Python, AspenONE, MATLAB, Avogadro, OpenFoam).

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a DAQ-assisted Diesel engine setup and high-quality emission analyzers, the laboratory enables researchers to conduct experiments in line with SAE and ASTM standards, measuring combustion parameters, emissions, and fuel properties accurately.
