Upon enrolment, a student is assigned an academic advisor. The role of the advisor is to guide the student in matters related to the academic study, the selection of modules for registration and to for understanding the career prospects of the different specialization. An advisor will be assigned to the student in the foundation program. Another advisor will be assigned once the student is enrolled in academic programmes. Students are urged to meet with their advisors regularly during the semester.

IMCO Academic Support Center (ASC) enhances students’ learning and teaching through different means. The Centre provides support for English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Modules for both Foundation and Diploma Programmes. Lecturers or student tutors are available in the Centre. Students can go to the Centre according to the latest semester/term wise timetable which is circulated to them or follow the schedule posted on the noticeboards and at the Centre.
