The ethos of THE Arab Awards is to identify, promote and celebrate the very best higher education stories, ensuring that the effort that individuals and teams put in day in, day out – transforming lives for the better as they do so – is given the broad recognition it merits.
Times Higher Education (THE) Awards for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is the third in THE series of events celebrating the very best stories in higher education – stories that rankings do not capture. This is an exciting opportunity for HEIs to identify, promote and showcase their inspirational work taking place, irrespective of campus size, focus and location. These awards focus primarily on activity and initiatives on various award categories listed.
NU participated in Times Higher Education (THE) MENA Awards 2023.
THE MENA awards are considered significant for NU since the preparatory works for meeting various criteria under 4 award categories indirectly enhance our strength in indicators of QS World Ranking. It also gives us enough opportunities to identify the gap areas and improve upon them through taking necessary measures and efforts.
On 2nd Aug 2023, NU received a notification that NU got shortlisted for the final stage of THE Awards MENA on the category Leadership and Management Team of the Year, which is a significant achievement.
