The National University of Science and Technology celebrates the graduation of (1215) students, batch 2021-2022

On the 12th of February 2023, the National University of Science and Technology have proudly honoured 1215 graduates at the 2021-2022 graduation ceremony which was held at Madinat Al Irfan Theatre, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ceremony was held under the patronage of HE Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health.  

The ceremony started with the national anthem followed by the recitation of the Holley Quran. The Chair of Board of Directors Dr. P. Mohamed Ali has welcomed the gathering, congratulated the parents and sponsors, and advised the graduates to continue learning and developing themselves so to play their role effectively in the society. 

The Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Al Bimani and the academic affiliates have also congratulated the graduates and urged them to trust the knowledge and training they have obtained and serve the industries and the community with proud and confidence. 

In the ceremony, 27 students received the special awards from the colleges of Medicine & Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering and International Maritime College of Oman for their excellence academic achievements and contribution in enhancing students’ overall experience in the campuses. The awards included: Academic Excellence Award Post Graduates, Academic Excellence Award Under Graduates, Meritorious/ High Honours and Honours Awards and the Citizenship Award. 

With an eye targeting the future, the National University shapes its vision in order to become an internationally recognized and renowned academic institution for education and research fostered by social values. The University have made significant progress towards higher ranking locally, regionally and internationally. 

Dignitaries, ambassadors and the members of the Board of Trustees have attended the ceremony. The Chief Guests were honoured by the Chair of Board of Directors Dr. P. Mohammed Ali and the VC Dr Ali Al Bimani.
Finally, the ceremony was concluded by a vote of thanks by Dr Salim Khamis Al Araimi, DVCP of the University where he appreciated the presence of all the attendees and the quality of NU events committee work in making both of ceremonies exceptionally unforgettable events.
