The College of Medicine and Health Sciences at NU won the International Social Accountability Fellowship.

The proposal on “Integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) into the curriculum for enhanced Social Accountability” jointly submitted by Prof. Ciraj Ali Mohammed, Head, Medical Education and Prof. Mohammed Al Shafaee, Dean, COMHS has won Social Accountability Fellowship (2023-2024), instituted by NOSM (Northern Ontario School of Medicine) University’s Dr. Gilles Arcand Centre for Health Equity, The Network: Towards Unity for Health, and the University of Limerick. This international recognition is a testament to the commitment of NU in fostering a culture of social responsibility and community involvement within our academic programs. We congratulate all faculty and staff of COMHS for their exemplary role in advancing social accountability not only within our local community but also on a global scale.
