About TechFest
Techfest is an annual technical festival for students at school final years or higher education organized by the College of Engineering, National University of Science and Technology Oman. TechFest provides a platform for students to exhibit their technical skills, knowledge, and awareness, thus, facilitating opportunities for networking, sharing and gaining technical experience and prowess.
TechFest 2023 is scheduled for two days on the 2nd & 3rd of May 2023 and hosts competitions in four categories.

• Video Contest
• Technical Quiz Competition
Objectives
• Encourage innovation and creativity among the young generation and provide them a platform to showcase their skills and talents.
• Involve industry participation to witness the skillsets possessed by the talented students and share the industry wisdom with the students.
• Encourage students’ participation in competitions and develop their confidence.
• Create a healthy competitive spirit among students that helps in benchmarking one’s own aptitude with their peers and developing their skillsets to match their counterparts.
