NU Career Fair 2019 is participated by more than 30 institutions from the public and private sectors providing opportunities to gradates for placement and training . The 21st edition of the (NU) Career Fair 2019 set off the awe-inspiring start on Tuesday at -National University of Since and Technology at the College of Engineering – Al hail under the auspices of HE DR. Darwish bin Saif Al Muharbi, Undersecretary for Administrative & Financial Affairs, Ministry of Health.
The annual Careers Fair at NU is meant to strengthen the relationship between the university and different employment sectors in the local market. On the other hand, it introduces NU various academic programmes to the participating organisations and find direct contact between NU students, graduates and employers from different sectors.
The students become more aware of the employment prospects here in Oman and can consider how to hone their skills accordingly, the participating organizations can meet final year engineering students with an eye to recruiting the brightest and the best for employment, training or placements. The two-day event targets university graduates looking for job and training opportunities, university students on the outskirts of the university seeking job opportunities, university students looking for training opportunities, and new university students to learn about the job market.
