The 2nd International Conference on Innovation, Sustainability, and Applied Sciences (ICISAS 2025), held on February 22-23 at the Dubai Police Academy, brought together experts to discuss innovation and sustainability. Seven papers from the College of Engineering were presented, with two receiving the best paper awards from the MIE department. We had the opportunity to meet H.H. Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Environmentalist Advisor for Ajman Government, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Fahad, Chairman of the Zayed International Foundation for the Environment. In discussions with Shaikh Abdulaziz, we explored potential research collaborations and knowledge transfer, and he expressed interest in joining us as a guest speaker on Sustainability and Carbon Reduction Practices.
