College of Advanced Technology Hosts Successful Open Day at Caledonian Campus

On 30th December 2024, the College of Advanced Technology at the National University of Science and Technology, Oman organized an exciting and informative Open Day at the Caledonian Campus. The event welcomed enthusiastic school students from Abdullah bin Jaafar School, Rustaq and Tabarak Private School, Al Hail.

The Open Day was filled with engaging activities aimed at introducing students to the diverse academic programs offered by the National University. Visitors were given a comprehensive tour of the campus facilities, providing them with firsthand experience of the state-of-the-art learning environment. A highlight of the day was the visit to the Advanced Computing Lab, where students participated in an interactive online quiz focused on fundamental mathematics. They were also introduced to cutting-edge AI tools that demonstrated voice, posture, and facial recognition technologies.

The event fostered curiosity and excitement among the visiting students, many of whom expressed a keen interest in learning more about the academic programs available at the university. The vibrant and dynamic atmosphere created an enjoyable learning experience for all attendees, who spent over three hours exploring and engaging with the various activities and sessions.
