SoFS Organizes Diabetes Awareness Day

World Diabetes Day, observed annually on November 14th, serves as a vital platform to raise awareness about diabetes as a major global public health concern. It emphasizes the need for both collective and individual efforts to enhance the prevention, diagnosis, and management of this condition. In alignment with the theme for this year, the Student Council at SoFS, under the guidance of Ms. Safiya Al Jabri, organized an awareness program on campus from 11 AM to 1 PM. The initiative aimed to raise awareness, disseminate knowledge, and inspire lasting change for those affected by diabetes, reinforcing the importance of education and proactive health management in the fight against this prevalent disease. There was a talk session and an exhibition as part of the awareness program.
