Research Workshop

The Graduate Studies, Research & Innovation Committee (GSRIC) at SoFS hosted an introductory workshop on Tuesday, November 14, from 2 to 4 pm at the Airport Heights Campus. Aimed at faculty members new to research or interested in initiating research projects, the workshop, titled “The Secret of Getting Ahead is Getting Started,” sought to achieve several objectives. These included fostering an understanding of fundamental research concepts, outlining the methodology for crafting a research proposal, and exploring techniques for data collection in the research process. Dr. Geethu Anne Mathew, a distinguished member of the SoFS GSRIC, led the workshop, sharing valuable insights based on her extensive research experience. Mr. Sreehari V M, the Chair of SoFS GSRIC, actively facilitated the session. Their contributions significantly enriched the learning experience for all participants.
