The School of Foundation Studies (SoFS) supported by a NU Research Grant (NURG), recently hosted the first Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the NURG project. The event, held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, marked a significant milestone in collaborative research efforts with other higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Sultanate of Oman.
The discussion was highly successful, with strong participation from representatives across Omani HEIs, which helped validate the assumptions outlined in the project proposal. The event provided a valuable platform for stakeholders to share insights and exchange knowledge on best practices within General Foundation Programs (GFP) across various institutions. This productive engagement highlights the project’s potential to foster impactful academic collaboration and innovation throughout Oman.
