The 12th Annual Science Fair at SoFS took place on 12 December 2023, under the patronage of Dr. Salim Khamis Al Araimi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost for Academic Affairs and Research at the Airport Heights Campus. The event focused on the theme ‘The Modern World & Artificial Intelligence. Its primary objectives were to familiarize students with AI, provide a foundational understanding of its principles, and explore its diverse applications.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming address from Dr. Sleem Khalfan Al Habsi, the Director of SoFS. Students from various levels and sections at SoFS presented AI-based projects, inaugurated by the Chief Guest. Subsequently, an Intercollegiate Quiz and Debate Competition took place, with prizes awarded for the best Project Display, as well as for the winners of the Quiz and Debate Competitions.
