On Wednesday, 2 October 2024, a formal induction ceremony was held at the University to welcome new students and introduce them to the Executive Heads and Deans of the various campuses. The event aimed to provide insights into the academic programs and opportunities available at the University.

The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Sleem Khalfan Al Habsi, Dean of the School of Foundation Studies. This was followed by an inspiring speech from Dr. Ali Saud Al Bimani, Vice Chancellor of the National University, who emphasized the importance of academic excellence and personal growth. Dr. Salim Al Araimi, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Provost for Academic Affairs & Research, was also in attendance, underscoring the event’s significance.
