National University proudly congratulates Ms. Zainab Khadim Jaffer, a final-year MD student from COMHS, for her remarkable achievement as part of the winning team at the International Interprofessional Case Competition (I2C2-2024).
I2C2 offers a unique platform where students from different professions, institutions, and countries come together to collaborate on complex clinical cases. Throughout the competition, participants gain invaluable experience by working in small teams to tackle real-world healthcare challenges, culminating in the creation of a video that showcases their innovative solutions. The top teams then present their work in a live final round, where a panel of judges evaluates their performance, with a particular focus on interprofessional collaboration and creative problem-solving.
Ms. Zainab expressed her deep satisfaction in being part of a diverse team, working alongside peers from various professional backgrounds and regions. She highlighted the value of this experience in shaping the skills and attitudes necessary for effective, patient-centered, collaborative practice. She also extended her gratitude to the IPE Subcommittee of COMHS for fostering such enriching opportunities for National University students.
