Basic Sciences and Humanities

It gives me great pleasure to introduce the Basic Sciences and Humanities department and its activities within the umbrella of College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the National University of Science and Technology. The department responsibilities are versatile and can be summarized as follows:

• Coordinating courses for MD1 year.
• Active involvement in research proposals submission and conduct of wet-type and survey-based research
• Proactive role in various college committees including research, ethics, examination, curriculum, and academic advising

• Actively teaching students to consolidate their background on fundamental life processes.
• Mentor and supervise students to help them achieve their academic goals
• Provide students with self-learning opportunities
