The College of Medicine and Health Sciences, National University of Science and Technology, Oman, announces that the International Quality Assurance conducted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Medical Education Programs (TEPDAD/Turkey) and approved by OAAA has resulted in the medical school’s program meeting the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) standards satisfactorily. Accordingly, the Faculty of Medicine has been granted “full accreditation” for six years (Jan 01, 2024 to December 31, 2030). This accreditation was granted based on the COMHS self-evaluation report (SER) submitted in February 2023 and the onsite evaluation visit of the TEPDAD team thereafter in November 2023.
