The curriculum and learning resources committee (CLRC) at COMHS organised the curriculum retreat of 2024 focusing on the theme “Review, Refine and Reform” on 03rd July at Radisson Blu International, Sohar. The retreat was designed to appraise existing curricular activities and share recommendations that originated from End of the Year (EOY) reports pertinent to curriculum governance and delivery. The deliberations were also intended to review the results of benchmarking exercises that were carried out in the areas of curricular integration, clinical teaching and research in the UG curriculum. The retreat also reflected on the TEPDAD recommendations and discussed preliminary action plans as a response to this report. Besides faculty and student representatives from COMHS, invited participants included, members from the college administration and College Board, members from alumni and industry along with faculty from affiliated hospitals.
