Creating an Inclusive Environment for Interprofessional Education (IPE)

The workshop identified strategies to be followed when introducing IPE into pre-registration health professional education using the Biggs’ 3P model of learning and teaching, considering presage (learning context, characteristics of learners, teachers, and program developers), process (teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies), and product (outcomes, evaluation, and sustainability) when developing and evaluating an IPE curriculum.
