The CoMHS successfully organized a workshop titled “Teaching Together: Strengthening Midwives’ Role in Clinical Education” on Saturday, 20 September 2025. The workshop provided valuable knowledge and practical guidance to enhance the teaching skills and clinical competencies of midwives.

Midwives from Sohar Hospital and other institutions participated in hands-on activities and explored best practices aimed at improving clinical education in delivery wards, particularly in areas where student learning has been affected by limited collaboration from clinical staff. This initiative marked an important step in fostering stronger partnerships between educators and clinical practitioners, equipping midwives and nurses with effective teaching strategies to create a more supportive and impactful clinical learning environment for students.
