The Department of Pharmacology and Biological Sciences in the College of Pharmacy offers several courses in the Pharmacy curriculum that train the students in basic biological sciences namely Biology, Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology and core subjects including Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy,Toxicology and Biotechnology.
The department has a teaching lab to cater the needs of the undergraduate learning and complement the theory part taught in the curriculum. The lab has appropriate facilities to impart experimental skills for students and learn basic techniques.
The department has a growing research environment covering a range of research areas including nutrition, Pharmacology, drug formulation, drug evaluation, screening of pharmacological and toxicological profile of natural and synthetic products.
The Department of Pharmacology and Biological Sciences in the College of Pharmacy consists of a highly qualified and efficient faculty team and well trained lab instructors in the field of Pharmacology and biological sciences.
