الصيدلة والعلوم البيولوجية

لمحة حول القسم

يقدم قسم الصيدلة والعلوم البيولوجية في كلية الصيدلة العديد من المقررات الدراسية وثيقة الصلة بمنهج الصيدلة التي تصقل الطلاب في العلوم البيولوجية الأساسية مثل علم الأحياء والكيمياء الحيوية وعلم التشريح وعلم وظائف الأعضاء والمواد الأساسية بما في ذلك علم الأدوية والعلاج الدوائي والسموم والتكنولوجيا الحيوية.

يحتوي القسم على مختبر تعليمي يلبي احتياجات التعليم الجامعي واستكمال الجوانب النظرية التي يتم تدريسها ضمن المناهج الدراسية. كما يحتوي المختبر على المرافق اللازمة لإكتساب المهارات التجريبية للطلاب وتعلم التقنيات الأساسية.

يتمتع القسم ببيئة بحثية متنامية تغطي مجموعة من المجالات البحثية بما في ذلك التغذية وعلم الأدوية وتركيب الأدوية وتقييم الأدوية وفحص الخصائص الدوائية والسمية للمنتجات الطبيعية والاصطناعية.
