The NU Incubation Centre, known as ‘Money Factory’, plays an essential role in supporting national priorities by transforming innovative ideas and projects into viable startups. The Centre is dedicated to building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem within the university campus, providing guidance and support tailored to the diverse needs of its beneficiaries.
Through its initiatives, Money Factory works to instil an entrepreneurial mindset among students and encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship as a primary career option. To achieve this mission, the Centre offers structured support in collaboration with key stakeholders in Oman’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. This includes access to office spaces, university facilities, mentoring, funding opportunities, training programs, and engagement in relevant events.
During the academic year 2024/2025, Money Factory implemented a wide range of impactful programs that contributed to the entrepreneurial landscape. It organized 26 internal programs and participated in 25 external programs conducted by ecosystem partners. The Centre also received 23 visits from policymakers and ecosystem members, which led to the signing of 8 cooperation agreements with supporting organizations. Between October 2024 and June 2025, Money Factory was actively engaged in events for more than 110 days. These efforts resulted in 11 notable achievements accomplished by both the Centre and the startups it supports. In total, over 1,124 beneficiaries from both the university and the broader community took part in the Centre’s programs, reflecting its commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in Oman.
