Students Visit the Incubation Center at NU on 6th July 2026

College of Pharmacy Graduate studies, research and innovation committee arranged a visit for 10 students to the Incubation Center (known as the Money Factory), at NU on 6th July 2026.

Dr. Jasim Al Balushi, head of the incubation center, welcomed the students and introduced them to the incubation center, outlining its mission to transform innovative ideas and research projects into successful, viable startups. He explained that the Money Factory provides students with seed funding, co-working spaces, mentoring, and business registration support to help bring their ideas to life.

During the session, the students engaged actively, raising numerous questions and inquiries about the opportunities available to them.

Following the introduction, the students visited the Center of Excellence in Environmental Science & Technology (CEEST), where Dr. Shabib Al Rashdi, Head of the center explained the types of projects undertaken at the center and how students can align their research interests to develop marketable products or award-winning innovations.

The visit concluded with strong interest from the students in exploring the resources and opportunities available through NU’s incubation and research facilities.
