The Industry and Community Engagement Committee chaired by Prof. Majed AbuKhader along with the Placement and Alumni Relations Office lead by Ms. Marwa Al-Hashmi organized the Annual Career Guidance Day on 14/4/2026 in LH1 at the College of Pharmacy.

The activity hosted guest speakers from Le Servier labs, Phelix pharma Oman, Muscat Pharmacy and Tabuk Pharmaceuticals to talk about various aspects in relation to the pharmaceutical market and job prospects in the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr Lamiya from Khoula Hospital talked about the ministry of health viva exam and also talked about her experience as a clinical pharmacist. Representatives from Muscat Pharmacy gave the students an insight on how to be successful in job applications and job interviews.

There was also a 2-hours interview session with 11 CoP graduates for recruitment in Muscat Pharmacy various pharmacy outlets.
The feedback from the students was positive and they appreciated the efforts to conduct such activities in the college.
