The College of Pharmacy (COP) demonstrated its commitment to community engagement and health awareness by actively participating in the Oman Cancer Association’s (OCA) Annual Walkathon. The event aimed to raise awareness and highlight the importance of solidarity and collective action in the fight against cancer.
Mr. Sultan bin Hamad Al-Bakri, Head of the Pharmacy Library and the technical and audiovisual coordinator for events at both the College of Pharmacy and the University, participated in the “Foundations of Organizing Events and Conferences” training program held at Sultan Qaboos University from 2 to 5 November 2025.
Students from the College of Pharmacy at the National University of Science and Technology participated in the World Cancer Congress, Summit & Exhibition 2025. The event provided an important platform for learners and professionals to engage with the latest global developments in cancer research, prevention, and treatment.
In celebration of Omani Agriculture Day, college of pharmacy students participated in distributing seedlings to citizens as part of the Bousher Green Initiative, which was organized by Muscat Municipality, the Office of the Wali of Bousher, and the Nidaa Volunteer Team.
