The industry and community engagement committee chaired by Prof. Majed AbuKhader organized the 9th Career Guidance Day on 22nd April 2025 at the College of Pharmacy. The event was attended by final year students. Prof. Majed presented the results of student’s employability and stated the details of the program for the day. Prof. Alka Ahuja honored the speakers and appreciated the efforts of the committee to organize this activity for the benefit of the students. The guest speakers from Astra Zeneca, Menagen and Phelix Pharma, Oman talked about various aspects in relation to the pharmaceutical market and job prospects in the Pharmaceutical industry. Ph. Ahmad Fathallah from Astra Zeneca highlighted the newly launched internship program designed for the NU CoP students. Ph Shahd Al Rasadi, a NU alumnus, shared her experience in the Novartis recruitment program and current developments in her job.
The feedback from the students was positive and they appreciated the efforts to conduct such activities in the college.
