The National University of Science and Technology (NU), College of Pharmacy, and Tabuk Pharmaceuticals officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing the career readiness of pharmacy graduates.
The MoU signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, bringing together senior representatives from both institutions and from Ministry of Health. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to bridging the gap between academic education and the pharmaceutical industry through structured training and professional exposure.
Under the MoU, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals will establish and deliver a six-month internship program for fresh graduates of the National University of Science and Technology – College of Pharmacy. The program is designed to provide graduates with hands-on industry experience, exposure to real-world pharmaceutical practices, and enhanced understanding of market dynamics and professional competencies.
The collaboration will be overseen by a joint Steering Committee, representing both NU and Tabuk Pharmaceuticals, to ensure effective implementation, transparency in graduate selection, and continuous development of the internship framework.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives from both parties emphasized that this partnership aligns with their mutual vision of empowering young professionals, supporting national talent development, and contributing to the advancement of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in the region.
This MoU is valid for a period of two years and lays the foundation for future collaborative initiatives in training, professional development, and knowledge exchange.
