As part of its strategic vision to bridge academic learning with industry needs, the College of Pharmacy at the National University of Science and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PHILEX Pharmaceuticals in the presence of officials from both institutions.
This MoU aims to establish collaboration in student internship programs, short training courses, and curriculum development. The MoU also includes providing College of Pharmacy students with hands-on training opportunities within PHILEX Pharmaceuticals facilities to enhance their readiness for the professional workforce.
Both parties emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships between academia and the pharmaceutical industry to advance pharmacy education and support the healthcare sector in Oman.
