Entry Requirements

General Admission Requirements:

  • A.1 A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy / Pharm. D from a recognized university by the MoHERI.
  • A.2 A cumulative Grade Points Average (cGPA) of 2.0 or above on the scale of 4.00.
  • A.3 Minimum of IELTS band 6.0 or TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (213 for computer-based test). Students with IELTS scores of 5.0 and 5.5 must attend English course (PQP) before joining the program.
  • A.4 The application has to be approved by NU Graduate Admission Committee.

Admission requirements for experienced applicants:

Experienced applicants who do not have a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/Pharm. D degree but have work experience in the field of Pharmacy can apply for the program if meeting the following criteria:

  • B.1 The applicant’s age shall not be less than 25 years when submitting the application.
  • B.2 The applicant must have 6 years of work experience related to Pharmacy field.
  • B.3 The applicant must have 2 years or 60 credit hours diploma after the General Education General Certificate or its equivalent.
  • B.4 The practical experience should be in the field of Pharmacy.
  • B.5 The applicant must have attended a number of training, vocational or educational courses in the field of Pharmacy.
  • B.6 The applicants without a Bachelor’s or Pharm.D degree may apply if they are at least 25 years old, have six years of relevant pharmacy experience, hold a two-year post-secondary diploma, possess practical pharmacy experience, and have completed related training or educational courses.
