College of Pharmacy, represented by the Alumni Committee, held the Annual Alumni Gathering. The event comes out of the belief in the active role of college graduates in highlighting the image of the institution in the pharmacy profession. It also helps in reviving communication between graduates and the college.
The activities were launched with a welcome speech by Prof. Khalid Al Balushi, Dean of College of Pharmacy, in which he emphasized on strengthening the relationship between the college and its alumni and benefiting from the experiences and capabilities of alumni in enhancing the academic programs of the college. He also announced the launch of Alumni Club in the coming period. A college alumnus, Pharmacist Juhaina Al-Maqbali, gave an inspirational speech on her journey in clinical pharmacy/academic profession. The event also included a space talk by alumni, a competition, and honouring the speaker and the alumni research and community engagement awards winners.
