تقوم هذه اللجنة بمهمة صياغة وتطوير استراتيجيات البحث العلمي قصيرة أو طويلة المدى لبرنامج التأسيسي العام في سبيل تحقيق الأهداف البحثية للجامعة. تتمثل مسؤوليات الرئيسية لهذه اللجنة في الآتي:

| الأستاذة نيرمالا بابو الأستاذة أسماء الحراصي د. شريفة ناصر الحراصي الأستاذ سريهاري ف م | Cross examine the trends observed in the final exam results since the onset of online learning at SoFS and investigate the reasons for a difference in the correlation coefficient observed in the three courses offered for the same cohort in Spring 2021 and also have a comparative investigation that shows relationships between two or more semesters. The study also aims to provide insights to pursue action in future semesters leading to a resolution of this observation. |

| الأستاذ نافانيث كولادي الأستاذة روزينا س | To investigate how effective is the use of only MCQs to test the reading skill of a GFP student. With the present pandemic situation, only MCQs are used whereas earlier, different question types were used and a high score in reading is observed. This needs further investigation. |
| الأستاذة روزينا س الأستاذة بيندو آني جورج | To investigate if feedback strategies adopted by faculty at GFP can be made more effective through perception training. The perception of feedback among staff and students differs in many areas and due to these divergent views, student satisfaction in the area of feedback has had an observable decline in the last two semesters [GFP-SSS, 2020-21 Fall and Spring]. This trend needs addressing and by further exploring alternatives for already existing feedback strategies, this study hopes to reverse the downward trend. |

Further, to explore the dimensions of Connectivism and assess its affordances as a model/framework for harnessing and supporting language learning in the digital age with a view to suggest its pedagogical applications. |
