College of Pharmacy, National University of Science and Technology organized the Research Symposium on 7th November 2023, under the patronage of Prof. Khalid Al Balushi, Dean, College of Pharmacy, NU. The theme of symposium was “Innovations in Pharmaceutical Research to Build a Sustainable Future for Health Care.” Prof. Alka Ahuja, Head of Pharmacy Program gave an Overview of Research Activities at CoP. Prof. KP Ramachandran, Acting Dean, Deanship of graduate studies and Research highlighted the importance of Research in a higher Education institution and appreciated the efforts of CoP in producing high quality Research. The keynote address was given by Dr. Amna AL Hashar, Director of the Pharmacy, SQCCCRC. She talked about “Survey development in Healthcare: Practical Considerations. The workshop about the Estebyan Platform was delivered by Mr. Hamed Al Musharfi, founder, and CEO of Data Mining Company. Prof. Khalid released the symposium proceedings and honored the speakers. 19 students research project presentations reflected the research theme. The audience enjoyed the fruitful discussions with the speakers. Dr. Sumaiya Al Kindi thanked all the attendees and the organizing committee, thus bringing the function to an end.
