On Oct 12, 2022, The Qomra Photography Club organized an illuminating workshop titled “Drawing with Neutral Light” by Mr Ali AlGhafri. The workshop aimed to equip students with the skills to capture stunning photographs by effectively controlling and mastering natural light.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the workshop, participants explored utilizing neutral light to create visually captivating images. They learned techniques to manipulate and harness natural light sources, such as the sun or ambient lighting, to enhance the mood, emphasize details, and evoke emotions in their photographs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ali AlGhafri shared his expertise on light metering, exposure settings, and composition strategies that optimize the use of natural light. Participants had the opportunity to practice these techniques through hands-on exercises and receive personalized feedback to refine their skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop emphasized the importance of observation, understanding the qualities of light, and adapting to various lighting conditions. Students learned to identify and utilize the best lighting angles and positions to create dramatic effects, soft illuminations, and beautiful shadows.<\/span><\/p>\n

 By the end of the workshop, participants had developed a keen eye for recognizing and working with neutral light in their photography.
