College of Medicine and Health Sciences (Formerly Oman Medical College - OMC), the only one private medical college in Oman was established in 2001 in academic partnership with the West Virginia University in the United States.

College of Medicine and Health Sciences is committed to preparing high quality health professionals who are dedicated to meeting the present and future health care needs of the people of Oman and beyond. The curriculum for M.D and BPharm have been developed in Academic partnership with West Virginia University, USA.

West Virginia University (WVU), nationally rated as 13th in training rural-medicine doctors, is a public, land-grant, space-grant, research-intensive university located three fantastic campuses namely Morgantown, Charleston and Eastern campuses which are united by a single mission.

The Doctor of Medicine degree is fully accredited by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME). WVU has 60 research labs in our facility and 4,700 School of Medicine alumni practicing or living around the world.

WVU medical students undergo a portion of their training at these off-campus sites where they learn the demands of rural health care first-hand. More than 87 USD million in scholarships was awarded to WVU students during the 2016-17 academic year. Recently, National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded WVU USD 11.2 million for interdisciplinary cancer research.

College of Pharmacy (Formerly Department of Pharmacy within Oman Medical College), the first Pharmacy College in Oman established in 2003 in academic partnership with the West Virginia University in the United States.

The College of Pharmacy is offering a four year program leading to the Bachelor of Pharmacy. The college has been approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Oman. Our vision is to be recognized nationally and internationally for quality education in pharmacy and research in pharmaceutical and health-related topics. The curriculum for BPharm program has been developed in Academic partnership with West Virginia University (WVU), USA.

The primary objective of the School of Pharmacy at WVU is to educate practitioners for current and future roles in the profession of pharmacy and to educate pharmaceutical scientists for careers in teaching and research. Pharmacy School in West Virginia University is among top 20% ranking in Pharmacy Schools Nationwide by U.S. News & World Report. 


College of Engineering (Formerly Caledonian College of Engineering) has established the following academic collaborations to offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs and research endeavors.


Academic Collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) - UK

Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), which has a tradition of quality education, research, consultancy and training that dates back to 1875, collaborates with College of Engineering and is the main awarding and accrediting body of both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs at CCE since 1996.

Academic Collaboration with University of South Carolina, USA

College of Engineering has established academic collaboration with University of South Carolina (USC), USA, one of the oldest and most comprehensive public institutions of higher education in the USA. This collaboration is mainly focused at bringing ABET compliant engineering programs in both core specializations and in emerging areas.
