About this program
This 4-year degree program prepares students to be successful electronic engineers. This is done through the effective teaching of electronics and communications engineering principles with the essential practical skills to enable graduates to practice and progress within the industrial environment as highly skilled engineers and entrepreneurs.
Electronics and Communications Engineering has two concentrations:
- Telecommunication Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
Career Opportunities
Graduates of this program have opportunities available in various private and government sectors, such as petroleum development companies, oil and gas companies, hospitals, defense, and aviation. Career options are also available in areas such as microcontroller applications, analogue and digital system design, signal processing and system modeling.
